'Gedragen Rivier' (Supported River). A sculpture created with bamboo twigs holding a copperplate with engraved lines and sculpted ridges filled with red and orange coloured sand. Dimensions: 39x20x57 cm. Created and crafted by Andrea Stötzer. When one day Andrea walked her dog along the River IJssel she mused how nice it would be when the river would carry her and Lilly the dog. She held on to the moment, started playing with the idea and tossing it around, it materialized in a sculpture of thin bamboo twigs carrying and supporting a riverbed. Andrea sculpted a copperplate to depict the riverbed with waterflow and coloured sandbanks.
